What I want to know?

I want to know many thing about contemporary literature. One thing is I want to know the beliefs that were written about during this period of time. I also want to know who some of the authors were. I want to know what the history behind contemporary literature. What Tyler of literature was written during this time period? I also wonder how did WWII affect the writing of the contemporary literature.
